Warranty

At PRÊT-À-PUPPY, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every leash and collar we create in our home studio in Ontario, Canada. Each piece is handmade with care, tested for durability, and designed to last. While rare, there may be occasions when a hardware component requires replacement or a repair is needed — and we’re here to help if that happens.

We offer a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects in materials and hardware. 

What’s Covered

Our warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and hardware. Examples of this could be:

• Faulty hardware: including buckles, snap hooks, D-rings, screws, or O-rings that break or stop working

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by your pet, normal wear and tear, or misuse. 

• Normal wear and tear (fading of material or colour changes due to exposure to sun, oils, or chemicals) 
• Chewing or pet-related damage (including chewing, scratching, biting etc) 
• Modifications or repairs made by anyone outside our team 

To start a warranty claim, please email us at woof@pret-a-puppy.com with:
1. Your order number or proof of purchase
2. A description and photos of the issue
 

We’ll review your case and, if approved, offer a repair or replacement depending on the situation.

Please note that shipping costs to our studio shall be born by the customer, we will only cover the cost to re-ship you the repaired or replacement item.
